WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• To improve blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes
• Used along with diet and exercise

HOW IT WORKS

• Sitagliptin increases the levels of natural hormones that stimulate insulin release after meals

• Severe urinary tract or genital infection with fever
• Signs of pancreatitis such as severe stomach pain that spreads to the back
• Allergic reactions such as rash, swelling of face or throat, or difficulty breathing
• Signs of low blood sugar such as sweating, shakiness, or confusion, especially if combined with other diabetes medicines
• Sudden leg pain, swelling, redness (possible Fournier's gangrene, a rare serious infection)

How to Use Sitazit DM ER Tablets (Sitagliptin 1000mg + Dapagliflozin 1mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Take at the same time each day to maintain steady effect
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
• Continue diet and exercise plan as advised
• Drink enough water during the day, especially in hot weather

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
• If you miss doses often, tell your doctor

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original pack until it is time to take it
