Uses and Benefits of SOLITRAL CAPSULE (SOLIFENACIN+ALFUZOCIN)
This combination medicine is prescribed for men who have an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) along with symptoms of an overactive bladder such as urgency and frequent urination.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relieving difficulty in passing urine due to enlarged prostate
- Reducing sudden urgent need to urinate
- Reducing frequent urination, including at night
- Improving overall urine flow
HOW IT WORKS
- Alfuzosin relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, easing urine flow
- Solifenacin relaxes the bladder wall muscle, reducing bladder overactivity and urgency
- Together they address both blockage and bladder irritability symptoms
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for urinary tract infections
- Not used for prostate cancer
- Not used for women's bladder problems
- Not a treatment to shrink the prostate size
- Not for use in children

How to Use SOLITRAL CAPSULE (SOLIFENACIN+ALFUZOCIN)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew
- Take at around the same time each day, preferably after a meal
- Do not increase or stop the dose without consulting your doctor
- Avoid standing up quickly after taking the dose, as it may cause dizziness
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
- If you miss several doses, inform your doctor before restarting
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep in a dry place, away from moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to solifenacin, alfuzosin, or related medicines
- Have severe liver or kidney disease
- Have untreated narrow-angle glaucoma
- Have severe urinary retention or blockage
- Have a history of fainting due to low blood pressure
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Have heart disease or irregular heart rhythm
- Have low blood pressure
- Have any liver or kidney problems
- Are due to have cataract or eye surgery
- Have a history of intestinal blockage or slow bowel movement
