Sumatriptan 50mg is mainly used to treat sudden attacks of migraine headache and cluster headache in adults.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of acute migraine attacks, with or without aura
• Relief of cluster headache episodes
• Reducing associated symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light or sound during a migraine

HOW IT WORKS

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew
• Can be taken with or without food
• Do not take a second dose for the same attack without your doctor's advice
• Do not exceed the maximum number of doses in 24 hours or per month advised by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• This medicine is taken only when needed for an attack, not on a fixed daily schedule, so a missed dose does not usually apply

STORAGE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
