WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Acute low back pain with muscle spasm
• Neck pain and stiffness due to muscle spasm
• Painful conditions of the spine associated with muscle tightness
• Musculoskeletal pain after injury or strain

HOW IT WORKS

• Thiocolchicoside acts on the nervous system to relax tight, spasming muscles
• Diclofenac blocks chemicals in the body called prostaglandins that cause pain, swelling, and inflammation
• Together they relieve both the muscle spasm and the associated pain and inflammation

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Long-term or chronic pain management
• Headache or migraine unrelated to muscle spasm
• Fever alone without pain or spasm
• Non-muscular causes of joint or nerve pain, such as nerve compression without spasm

• Severe stomach pain

• Yellowing of skin or eyes
• Unusual bruising or bleeding
• Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling
• Chest pain, breathlessness, or swelling of legs

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not take for longer than the duration prescribed, usually a short course
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase the risk of stomach irritation

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
