This medicine is mainly used to treat dry, irritating cough often linked with common cold, allergies, or throat irritation.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of dry cough that does not produce mucus
• Cough due to common cold or minor throat irritation
• Allergic symptoms like sneezing and runny nose accompanying cough

HOW IT WORKS

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks histamine, reducing allergy symptoms like sneezing and watery eyes
• Dextromethorphan acts on the brain's cough centre to reduce the urge to cough
• Together they help calm irritation in the throat and reduce excessive coughing

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for wet or productive cough with thick mucus
• Not used to treat bacterial or viral infections directly
• Not a treatment for asthma or chronic breathing disorders
• Not recommended for chest congestion needing mucus clearance

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken with or without food, as advised
• Do not exceed the dose or frequency recommended by your doctor
• Shake the syrup well before use, if applicable
• Use the measuring cup or spoon provided, not a regular household spoon

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
