WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Dry, irritating cough
• Blocked or stuffy nose
• Runny nose and sneezing due to cold or allergy
• Watery eyes and nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis

HOW IT WORKS

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks histamine, reducing sneezing, itching, and watery eyes
• Dextromethorphan acts on the brain's cough centre to reduce the urge to cough
• Phenylephrine narrows blood vessels in the nose, reducing swelling and congestion

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Productive (wet/mucus-filled) cough where mucus needs to be cleared
• Cough due to asthma, tuberculosis, or serious lung disease

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor or as per the label
• Usually taken by mouth, with or without food
• Use a proper measuring cup/spoon if it is a syrup, not a regular kitchen spoon
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than advised
• Avoid taking other cold/cough medicines at the same time unless your doctor says so

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
