Uses and Benefits of WINOLAP-DS EYE DROP (OLOPATADINE 2MG.)

Olopatadine 2mg is mainly used to treat allergic conditions affecting the eyes or nose.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Allergic conjunctivitis (itching, redness, watering of eyes due to allergy)
• Seasonal or year-round allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itching due to allergy)
• Relief from eye itching caused by pollen, dust, or other allergens

HOW IT WORKS

• It blocks histamine receptors, reducing the release of histamine and other allergy-related chemicals
• This helps to reduce itching, redness, swelling, and watering caused by allergic reactions
• It also has mast cell stabilising action, which helps prevent further allergic symptoms

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used to treat bacterial or viral eye infections
• It is not a treatment for glaucoma or other serious eye diseases
• It does not treat the common cold or sinus infections

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

How to Use WINOLAP-DS EYE DROP (OLOPATADINE 2MG.)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only as directed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• For eye drops: wash your hands, tilt your head back, and place the drop inside the lower eyelid without touching the tip of the dropper to your eye
• For nasal spray: blow your nose gently before use, then spray into each nostril as directed
• Do not wear contact lenses while using the eye drops unless your doctor says it is safe

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Use it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule
