• It also helps normalise certain blood proteins involved in hereditary angioedema attacks

• It is not a painkiller and does not treat general period pain unrelated to endometriosis
• It is not a contraceptive, though it may affect fertility during use
• It is not used to treat infections or unrelated hormonal disorders such as thyroid problems

How to Use Danazol 50mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take danazol exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food to reduce stomach upset
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
• Continue for the full duration advised, even if symptoms improve early
• Use a non-hormonal method of contraception during treatment, as advised by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
