HOW TO TAKE IT

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Metallic taste in mouth

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Signs of low blood sugar such as sweating, shakiness, confusion
• Severe stomach pain, nausea and vomiting (possible lactic acidosis or pancreatitis)
• Signs of dehydration or very low blood pressure
• Difficulty breathing, unusual tiredness, or muscle pain
• Swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat, or severe skin rash (allergic reaction)
• Signs of ketoacidosis even with normal blood sugar (fruity breath, vomiting, weakness)
• Sudden decrease in urination or swelling of legs (kidney problem)

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Have a history of metabolic acidosis
