How to Use Entacapone 200mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually alongside each dose of levodopa/carbidopa

• Yellowing of skin or eyes, signs of liver problems
• Fainting or severe low blood pressure on standing
• Hallucinations or unusual behavioural changes
• Severe, persistent diarrhoea

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to entacapone or any ingredient in the tablet
• Have severe liver disease
• Have a rare tumour called pheochromocytoma
• Have previously had a serious reaction called neuroleptic malignant syndrome

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have any liver or kidney problems
• Have low blood pressure or fainting spells
• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
