- Vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis)
- Oral and throat fungal infections (thrush)
- Fungal infections of the skin and nails
- Fungal infections of internal organs in some cases
- Prevention of fungal infections in people with weak immunity
HOW IT WORKS
- Fluconazole belongs to a group of medicines called azole antifungals
- It blocks an enzyme that fungus needs to build its cell wall
- This stops the fungus from growing and multiplying, helping the infection clear up
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It does not treat bacterial infections
- It does not treat viral infections such as cold or flu

How to Use Fluconazole 50mg
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- It can be taken with or without food
- Swallow the tablet or capsule with a glass of water
- Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
- Complete the full course even if you feel better, unless your doctor tells you to stop
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
