WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

  • Ringworm infection (tinea corporis)
  • Athlete's foot (tinea pedis)
  • Jock itch (tinea cruris)
  • Other superficial fungal skin infections as diagnosed by your doctor

HOW IT WORKS

  • It belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals
  • It damages the cell membrane of the fungus, stopping it from growing and spreading
  • This helps clear the infection and relieve itching, redness and scaling

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

  • Not used for bacterial skin infections
  • Not used for viral infections like herpes or warts

How to Use Luliconazole 1% W/W

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • For external use on the skin only
  • Wash and dry the affected area before applying
  • Apply a thin layer to cover the affected area and a little surrounding skin, as prescribed by your doctor
  • Wash your hands after application unless hands are the area being treated
  • Do not cover the area with an airtight bandage unless advised
  • Use for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve early
  • Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth and open wounds

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Apply as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed one
  • Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

  • Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
  • Keep the tube or bottle tightly closed
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
