HOW IT WORKS

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

How to Use Magnesium Valproate

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says it is safe to do so
• Take it at the same time(s) each day to maintain steady levels in the body
• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, even if you feel better, as it may trigger seizures
• Continue taking it for as long as your doctor recommends, even during periods without symptoms

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
• If you miss doses frequently, inform your doctor

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
