WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating high blood pressure (hypertension)

HOW IT WORKS

How to Use Olmesartan Medoxomil (40mg) + Chlorthalidone (6.25mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily

• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not stop taking it suddenly even if you feel well, as blood pressure may rise again

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Severe dizziness, fainting or very low blood pressure
• Signs of kidney problems such as reduced urination or swelling in legs
• Severe diarrhoea, vomiting or signs of dehydration
• Muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat, or confusion (possible electrolyte imbalance)
• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
