How to Use Perampanel 4mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily at bedtime
  • Swallow the tablet with water; it can be taken with or without food
  • Do not chew or crush unless your doctor tells you to
  • Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
  • Do not stop suddenly, as this may worsen seizures; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually if needed
  • Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase drowsiness

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
  • If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual
