HOW IT WORKS

How to Use Pioglitazone 15mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day
• Can be taken with or without food, but try to take it at the same time each day
• Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says so
• Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as diabetes needs ongoing control
• Keep taking other prescribed diabetes medicines, diet, and exercise routines alongside this

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

• Sudden shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Rapid weight gain or severe swelling, suggesting fluid retention or heart failure
• Yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine, indicating liver problems
• Chest pain
• Blood in urine or pain while passing urine, which may indicate bladder problems
• Unusual bone fractures

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
