WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Prevention of further heart attacks in people who have already had one
- Prevention of complications after unstable angina
- Reducing clot risk after procedures like angioplasty or stent placement
- Used along with low-dose aspirin unless your doctor advises otherwise
HOW IT WORKS
- Blocks a receptor on platelets called P2Y12
- Prevents platelets from sticking together and forming clots
- Keeps blood flowing smoothly through narrowed or stented arteries
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not a painkiller and does not treat chest pain directly
- Not used for general blood thinning without a heart-related indication
- Not a substitute for lifestyle changes like quitting smoking or controlling cholesterol

How to Use Ticagrelor 90mg
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice a day
- Can be taken with or without food

- Take at the same times each day to maintain steady levels in the blood
