How to Use Topiramate 100mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily
• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow tablets whole with water; do not crush unless advised
• Drink plenty of water during the day to reduce risk of kidney stones
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this may trigger seizures

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture

• Signs of allergic reaction (rash, swelling of face/throat, breathing difficulty)
• Thoughts of self-harm or unusual mood changes
• Rapid breathing along with confusion (possible metabolic acidosis)
