How to Use Zolpidem

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once at bedtime
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take it right before going to bed, as it works quickly
• Make sure you can devote at least 7-8 hours to sleep after taking it
• Do not take with or right after a heavy meal, as it may reduce effectiveness
• Do not increase the dose or use it for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• If you missed taking it at bedtime and remember later in the night, skip the dose
• Do not take it if you have less than 7-8 hours left before you need to wake up
• Never double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Keep in the original packaging until use
• Do not use expired medicine; dispose of it safely

• Severe allergic reaction such as swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, and difficulty breathing
• Severe confusion or hallucinations
• Signs of dependence or withdrawal symptoms after stopping
• Thoughts of self-harm or unusual behaviour changes
• Severe drowsiness that interferes with daily activities
