WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of major depressive disorder

HOW IT WORKS

• Desvenlafaxine increases the levels of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain, improving mood

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew
• Take at the same time each day, preferably in the evening if drowsiness occurs
• Can be taken with or without food
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, as withdrawal effects can occur

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one
