- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Other bacterial infections as diagnosed by your doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- It belongs to a group of antibiotics called penems
- It stops bacteria from forming their cell walls
- Without a proper cell wall, the bacteria die, helping clear the infection
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It does not work against viral infections like common cold, flu, or COVID-19
- It is not used for fungal infections
- It should not be used to self-treat undiagnosed fever or infection without medical advice
- It is not a painkiller and does not relieve symptoms like pain unrelated to infection

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually by mouth
