Ranitidine 300mg is mainly prescribed for conditions related to excess stomach acid production.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of stomach and duodenal ulcers
• Relief from acidity, heartburn, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Management of conditions with excess acid production such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
• Prevention of ulcers caused by certain medicines like NSAIDs

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks histamine H2-receptors in the stomach lining
• Reduces the secretion of stomach acid

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE
