WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Acidity and heartburn
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Stomach ulcers related to excess acid
• Nausea, vomiting and bloating linked with slow stomach emptying
• Discomfort caused by acid reflux affecting the food pipe

HOW IT WORKS

• Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining, reducing acid production
• Domperidone increases movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass through faster and reducing feelings of nausea
• Together they relieve both the acid symptoms and the associated digestive discomfort

• Signs of low magnesium such as severe tiredness, muscle spasms or seizures

How to Use ACILOC RD TABLET (OMEPRAZOLE 20MG + DOMPERIDONE 10MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily before a meal
• Swallow the tablet or capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take it at the same time each day for best results
• Do not increase the dose or use it for longer than advised
• Continue taking it even if you feel better, unless your doctor tells you to stop

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat, light and moisture
• Keep in the original packaging until use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to omeprazole, domperidone, or similar medicines
• Have a known heart rhythm problem
• Have a stomach or intestinal bleed or blockage
• Have moderate to severe liver disease (for domperidone)
• Are taking certain medicines that affect heart rhythm
