This medicine combination is used to treat malaria caused by the Plasmodium falciparum parasite, which is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of uncomplicated (mild to moderate) malaria
• Used in adults and children as advised by the doctor based on body weight

HOW IT WORKS

• Artemether acts quickly to reduce the number of malaria parasites in the blood
