WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of moderate to moderately severe pain such as post-operative pain, injury pain, dental pain, and chronic pain conditions
• Short-term management of pain when regular paracetamol or NSAIDs are not enough

HOW IT WORKS

• Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by acting on pain and temperature centres in the brain
• Tramadol is an opioid-like painkiller that changes how the brain and nervous system respond to pain signals
• Together they give stronger pain relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for mild pain like simple headache or minor body ache where plain paracetamol is enough

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says it is fine
• Do not take more than the prescribed dose or take it more often than advised
