Ilaprazole 10 mg is used to treat conditions caused by excess stomach acid.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) causing heartburn and acid regurgitation
- Gastric ulcers
- Duodenal ulcers
- Erosive esophagitis
- Along with antibiotics for treating H. pylori infection
HOW IT WORKS
- It blocks the proton pump in stomach cells that produces acid
- This reduces the total amount of acid released into the stomach
- Lower acid levels help heal ulcers and relieve reflux symptoms
- It also helps prevent acid-related damage to the food pipe (esophagus)
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a painkiller and does not treat general body pain
- It is not used for infections unrelated to the stomach
- It is not a quick-relief antacid for occasional mild indigestion

How to Use ADIZA 10MG TABLET (ILAPRAZOLE 10 MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- It is usually taken once daily, before a meal
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush it unless advised
- Try to take it at the same time every day for best effect
- Continue the full course even if you feel better, unless your doctor advises otherwise
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep in the original packaging until ready to use
