Uses and Benefits of ADIZA 10MG TABLET (ILAPRAZOLE 10 MG)

Ilaprazole 10 mg is used to treat conditions caused by excess stomach acid.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) causing heartburn and acid regurgitation
• Gastric ulcers
• Duodenal ulcers
• Erosive esophagitis
• Along with antibiotics for treating H. pylori infection

HOW IT WORKS

• It blocks the proton pump in stomach cells that produces acid
• This reduces the total amount of acid released into the stomach
• Lower acid levels help heal ulcers and relieve reflux symptoms
• It also helps prevent acid-related damage to the food pipe (esophagus)

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a painkiller and does not treat general body pain
• It is not used for infections unrelated to the stomach
• It is not a quick-relief antacid for occasional mild indigestion

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It is usually taken once daily, before a meal
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush it unless advised
• Try to take it at the same time every day for best effect
• Continue the full course even if you feel better, unless your doctor advises otherwise

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original packaging until ready to use
• Keep out of reach and sight of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
