How to Use AHABIR 250MG TABLET (ABIRATERONE 250MG)

Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by your oncologist.

Swallow the tablets whole with water.

Take Abiraterone on an empty stomach:

Do not eat for at least 2 hours before taking the tablet.

Do not eat for at least 1 hour after taking the tablet.

Take it at the same time every day.

Continue taking prednisone or prednisolone exactly as prescribed along with Abiraterone.

Do not stop treatment without consulting your doctor.

• Regular monitoring of liver function, blood pressure, potassium levels, and blood tests is required during treatment.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or low potassium levels.
• Tell your healthcare provider about all medicines and supplements you are taking to avoid potential drug interactions.
• Men taking Abiraterone with a partner who is pregnant or may become pregnant should use effective contraception during treatment and for the recommended period after the last dose.
• Avoid consuming food around the time of dosing, as food significantly increases Abiraterone absorption and may increase the risk of side effects.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
