Alprazolam 1mg is prescribed to treat anxiety disorders, including generalised anxiety and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Short-term relief of symptoms of anxiety
- Treatment of panic disorder with recurrent panic attacks
- Anxiety associated with depression, only when advised by a doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- Alprazolam belongs to the benzodiazepine group of medicines
- It enhances the calming action of a natural brain chemical called GABA
- This slows down excess nerve activity, reducing anxiety, fear, and tension

HOW TO TAKE IT

- Take it as soon as you remember
