Amlodipine 2.5mg is mainly used to treat high blood pressure and chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating high blood pressure (hypertension)
• Treating angina (chest pain due to heart disease)
• Sometimes used along with other medicines to manage heart-related conditions

HOW IT WORKS

• Relaxes and widens blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood
• Reduces the amount of work the heart has to do
• Improves blood flow to the heart, easing chest pain

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used to treat sudden chest pain (heart attack) emergencies
• Not a treatment for irregular heartbeat

How to Use AMLOVAS 2.5MG TABLET (Amlodipine 2.5mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Try to take it at the same time every day
• Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not store in the bathroom or near a sink
• Check the expiry date before use and discard expired medicine safely

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
