Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg is mainly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and fluid build-up in the body due to certain heart, liver, or kidney conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling high blood pressure
- Reducing swelling (oedema) caused by heart failure, liver disease, or kidney problems
- Sometimes used along with other blood pressure medicines for better control
HOW IT WORKS
- It acts on the kidneys to increase the removal of excess salt and water from the body
- This reduces the amount of fluid in blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure
- Reduced fluid volume also helps decrease swelling in the legs, ankles, or abdomen

How to Use AQUAZIDE 25MG TABLET (HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE 25MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
- Take it in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night
- Can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better
