WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating ADHD symptoms such as poor concentration, restlessness and impulsive behaviour
• Used in children above a certain age, teenagers and adults as advised by the doctor

How to Use AXEPTA 10MG TABLET (Atomoxetine 10mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• Can be taken with or without food; taking with food may reduce nausea
• Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not open, chew or crush it
• Try to take it at the same time(s) each day for consistent effect
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor
• It may take a few weeks before full benefit is noticed

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take double dose to make up for a missed one
• If you miss doses often, inform your doctor

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep in a dry place, away from moisture
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to atomoxetine or any of its ingredients
• Have a serious heart condition or narrow-angle glaucoma
• Are currently taking, or have recently stopped, an MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitor) medicine
• Have severe high blood pressure that is not controlled

• Have liver problems
• Have a history of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder or suicidal thoughts
