Uses and Benefits of AZITHRAL XP KIT (AZITHROMYCIN1GM+FLUCONAZOLE150MG+SECNIDAZOLE1GM)
This combination is mainly used to treat mixed infections of the genital and reproductive tract that involve bacteria, fungus and protozoal organisms together.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Sexually transmitted infections caused by bacteria like Chlamydia
- Vaginal or genital fungal infections caused by Candida
- Infections caused by protozoa such as Trichomonas or certain anaerobic bacteria
- Mixed reproductive tract infections needing combined treatment
HOW IT WORKS
- Azithromycin is an antibiotic that stops bacteria from multiplying
- Fluconazole is an antifungal that damages the fungal cell membrane, killing the fungus
- Secnidazole targets protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, stopping their growth
- Together they cover three types of organisms in one course
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Common cold, flu or viral fever
- Ordinary skin allergies
- Non-infective vaginal itching or dryness
- General body pain unrelated to infection
This combination should only be used under medical supervision after proper diagnosis, since giving all three medicines together without confirmed infection can lead to unnecessary side effects and resistance.
