WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Controlling high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes
• Used along with diet and exercise for better sugar control
• Sometimes added when other diabetes medicines are not enough

HOW IT WORKS

• Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin
• Dapagliflozin helps the kidneys remove extra sugar through urine

• Severe urinary or genital infection with fever
• Signs of lactic acidosis such as unusual tiredness, muscle pain, trouble breathing
• Sudden swelling of face, lips or throat, or difficulty breathing (allergic reaction)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily with the first main meal of the day
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew
• Drink enough fluids during the day while on this medicine
• Continue diet and exercise advised by your doctor
• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture
• Keep the strip in its original packaging until use
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
