This medicine combination is used to treat infections caused by intestinal worms and certain parasites affecting the skin and body tissues.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Treatment of roundworm, hookworm, and whipworm infections
- Treatment of threadworm (strongyloidiasis)
- Treatment of scabies and certain skin parasite infestations
- Treatment of filarial worm infections in some cases
HOW IT WORKS
- Albendazole stops worms from absorbing sugar, which cuts off their energy and kills them
- Ivermectin paralyzes and kills parasites by affecting their nerve and muscle function
- Together they cover a broader range of parasites than either medicine alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for bacterial or viral infections
- Not used for fungal skin infections
- Not a treatment for malaria
- Not recommended for routine deworming without doctor's advice

How to Use BANDY PLUS TABLET (Albendazole 400mg + Ivermectine 6mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- Usually taken as a single dose, but your doctor may advise a repeat dose after some time
- Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor specifies otherwise
- Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush unless advised
- Complete the full course as instructed even if symptoms improve quickly
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as scheduled
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
