Saroglitazar 4mg is prescribed for people with type 2 diabetes who have high triglyceride levels and abnormal cholesterol (diabetic dyslipidemia) that is not adequately controlled by diet and other lipid-lowering medicines.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Managing high triglyceride levels in patients with type 2 diabetes
• Treating diabetic dyslipidemia (abnormal blood fat levels linked to diabetes)
• Sometimes used to support control of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) associated with diabetes, as advised by the doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• It activates PPAR alpha and gamma receptors, which regulate fat and sugar metabolism

HOW TO TAKE IT

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
