WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- ENT infections like sinusitis and tonsillitis
- Typhoid and other susceptible bacterial infections
HOW IT WORKS
- Cefpodoxime weakens the bacterial cell wall, causing the bacteria to die
- Ofloxacin blocks enzymes bacteria need to copy their DNA, stopping their growth and multiplication
- Together they act on a wider range of bacteria than either medicine alone

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Take at evenly spaced intervals as directed to maintain steady levels in the body
- Complete the full course even if you feel better, unless your doctor tells you to stop
- Drink plenty of water while on this medicine
- Avoid taking with antacids, iron, or calcium supplements at the same time; separate by a few hours
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
