This medicine is used to treat various bacterial infections, especially those involving skin, soft tissue, respiratory tract, ENT and urinary tract, where mixed or resistant bacteria are suspected.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and sinusitis

- Infections after surgery, as advised by the doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- Cefixime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that stops bacteria from building their protective cell wall, killing them
- Dicloxacillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic that targets bacteria resistant to plain penicillin, especially certain Staphylococcus strains
- Together they widen the range of bacteria covered
- Lactobacillus is a beneficial probiotic that restores healthy gut bacteria disturbed by antibiotics, reducing diarrhoea and stomach upset
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Viral infections like common cold, flu or most sore throats
- Fungal infections

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a glass of water
- Can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet or capsule whole; do not crush or chew unless your doctor says so
- Complete the full course even if you feel better before finishing it, to prevent the infection from returning or becoming resistant
- Take doses at evenly spaced times each day as advised
- Do not take extra doses to make up for a missed one
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Never double the dose to catch up

- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
