HOW IT WORKS
- Cefpodoxime kills bacteria by stopping them from building their protective cell wall
- Clavulanic acid blocks an enzyme that some bacteria use to destroy the antibiotic
- Together, they widen the range of bacteria the medicine can treat

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually twice a day
- Can be taken with or without food, but taking with food may reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Complete the full course even if you feel better, to prevent the infection from returning
- Do not stop the medicine early without consulting your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture
- Keep the medicine in its original packaging
- Keep out of reach of children
- Discard any unused liquid suspension after the recommended period once mixed
