Loratadine 10mg is mainly used to treat allergic conditions caused by exposure to allergens like dust, pollen, pet hair or insect bites.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief from sneezing, runny or itchy nose due to allergic rhinitis
- Relief from itchy, watery and red eyes caused by allergies
- Relief from itching and hives (urticaria) on the skin
- Seasonal and year-round (perennial) allergy symptoms
HOW IT WORKS
- It blocks histamine, a chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction
- By blocking histamine, it reduces swelling, itching and redness
- It is a non-drowsy type of antihistamine for most people, though some may still feel sleepy
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It does not treat bacterial or viral infections
- It is not a painkiller and does not treat fever
- It does not cure asthma, though it may help with allergy-related symptoms

How to Use CLARIDIN 10MG TABLET (LORATADINE 10MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- Usually taken once a day, with or without food
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
- Do not increase the dose or take it more often than advised
- If using a syrup form, use the measuring cup provided
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep in a dry place, away from moisture
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
