WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Prevention of heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients
• After placement of a coronary stent to prevent clot formation
• In patients with unstable angina or acute coronary syndrome
• As advised by your doctor for long-term cardiovascular protection

HOW IT WORKS

• Clopidogrel prevents platelets from sticking together, reducing clot formation
• Aspirin also reduces platelet clumping through a different pathway

HOW TO TAKE IT
