Uses and Benefits of CLOFRANIL 25MG TABLET (CLOMIPRAMINE 25MG)

Clomipramine is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and certain types of phobic and panic disorders. It may also be used for other conditions as decided by your doctor.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Depression of various types
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Panic attacks with or without agoraphobia
• Certain chronic pain conditions (as advised by a specialist)
• Cataplexy associated with narcolepsy (in some cases)

HOW IT WORKS

• Increases the levels of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain by blocking their reabsorption into nerve cells
• This helps improve mood, reduce obsessive thoughts, and control panic symptoms over time

How to Use CLOFRANIL 25MG TABLET (CLOMIPRAMINE 25MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• Can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
