This combination is mainly used to help improve brain function in people recovering from stroke, head injury, or age-related memory decline, and in conditions involving reduced brain function.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Supporting recovery after stroke or brain injury
• Improving memory, concentration and attention in age-related cognitive decline
• Helping with dizziness, confusion, or reduced alertness linked to poor brain function
• Supporting rehabilitation in patients with impaired consciousness after brain damage

HOW IT WORKS

• Citicoline helps repair and protect brain cell membranes and supports nerve signalling
• Piracetam improves communication between brain cells and increases blood flow to brain tissue
• Together they help improve mental clarity, memory, and recovery of brain function

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not a cure for dementia or Alzheimer's disease

How to Use COLIHENZ P 400 TABLET (CITICOLINE 500MG + PIRACETAM 400MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• Can be taken with or without food, unless your doctor says otherwise
• Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take at the same time each day to help you remember
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Do not store in the bathroom or near the kitchen sink

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to citicoline, piracetam, or any ingredient in this medicine
• Have severe kidney disease (unless dose-adjusted by your doctor)
• Have active bleeding or a bleeding disorder
• Have had a recent brain haemorrhage without doctor's clearance

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have kidney or liver disease
• Have a history of bleeding disorders
• Are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
• Have Parkinson's disease or any movement disorder
• Are scheduled for surgery soon
