WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Acute low back pain with muscle spasm
• Neck pain and spondylitis with stiffness

HOW IT WORKS

• Etoricoxib blocks a chemical (COX-2) that causes pain, swelling and inflammation
• Thiocolchicoside acts on the nervous system to relax tight, spasming muscles
• Together they reduce pain, stiffness and spasm faster than either alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for long-term daily pain control
• Not for fever or common cold

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Dry mouth
• Mild swelling of feet or ankles
• Increased blood pressure

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Chest pain, breathlessness or irregular heartbeat
• Black or bloody stools, vomiting blood
• Severe skin rash, blistering or peeling
• Yellowing of eyes or skin (jaundice)
• Sudden swelling of face, lips or throat, difficulty breathing
• Seizures or muscle twitching (rare with Thiocolchicoside)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Use for the shortest duration needed, generally only a few days
• Do not increase the dose or frequency on your own
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original pack until ready to use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Discard expired or unused medicine safely

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Have severe liver or kidney disease
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have a seizure disorder
