This combination medicine is used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially to control the rise in blood sugar that occurs after meals.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling high blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
- Managing after-meal (post-prandial) blood sugar spikes
- Used along with diet and exercise, sometimes with other diabetes medicines
HOW IT WORKS
- Repaglinide helps the pancreas release insulin quickly after eating
- Voglibose slows down breakdown of carbohydrates in the gut, reducing sugar absorption
- Together they help keep blood sugar levels steady around mealtimes
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for type 1 diabetes
- Not used for diabetic ketoacidosis (a medical emergency)

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually just before each main meal
- Swallow the tablet with water
- Do not skip meals after taking this medicine, as it can cause low blood sugar
- Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
- Continue diet and exercise advice given by your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- If you miss a meal, skip that dose of medicine as well
- Do not take an extra dose to make up for a missed one
