Uses and Benefits of FEXY 120MG TABLET (FEXOFENADINE 120MG)

Fexofenadine 120mg is mainly used to treat allergic conditions caused by histamine release in the body.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms like sneezing, runny or blocked nose
• Relief of itchy, watery eyes due to allergies
• Treatment of chronic urticaria (hives) with itching and skin rash
• Management of seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms

HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks histamine H1 receptors in the body
• Reduces symptoms like itching, swelling, sneezing and redness caused by allergens
• Does not cure the allergy but controls its symptoms
• Provides relief for about 24 hours with once-daily dosing

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used to treat asthma or breathing difficulty
• Not effective for common cold or viral infections
• Not a treatment for bacterial infections
• Not meant for sudden severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis

How to Use FEXY 120MG TABLET (FEXOFENADINE 120MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Can be taken with or without food
• Try to take it at the same time every day
• Avoid taking with fruit juices as they may reduce absorption

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep in a dry place, away from moisture
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
