Carbamazepine 100mg is mainly used to treat epilepsy and certain nerve pain conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling different types of seizures (fits) in epilepsy
- Relieving pain from trigeminal neuralgia (severe facial nerve pain)
- Helping to manage mood swings in some mood disorders, as advised by a doctor
- Sometimes used for certain nerve pain conditions as directed by a specialist
HOW IT WORKS
- Calms overactive electrical activity in the brain and nerves
- Stabilises nerve cell membranes, reducing abnormal nerve signalling
- Helps reduce the frequency and severity of seizures

HOW TO TAKE IT
