Uses and Benefits of NISE MR TABLET (NIMESULIDE 100MG + TIZANIDINE 2MG)
This combination is used to treat pain and muscle spasm that occur together, such as in acute back pain, neck pain, sprains, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Relief of pain and inflammation from muscle or joint injuries
- Relief of muscle spasm associated with painful conditions
- Short-term management of acute low back pain and neck pain
- Post-injury or post-strain pain with muscle tightness
HOW IT WORKS
- Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling and fever by blocking chemicals called prostaglandins
- Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant that acts on the central nervous system to reduce muscle spasm and tightness
- Together they relieve pain and relax tense muscles at the same time
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for chronic long-term pain management without medical supervision
- Not a treatment for infections or fever alone
- Not recommended for children
- Not meant for regular daily use without doctor's advice

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

- Fainting, very low blood pressure, or irregular heartbeat
- Difficulty breathing
- Significant reduction in urine output

How to Use NISE MR TABLET (NIMESULIDE 100MG + TIZANIDINE 2MG)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase drowsiness and stomach irritation
- Use for the shortest duration needed to control symptoms, as advised by your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
- Do not take double doses to make up for a missed one

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to Nimesulide, Tizanidine, or other NSAIDs
- Have active stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding

- Are taking certain blood pressure medicines called strong CYP1A2 inhibitors

- Oral contraceptives and certain antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin) that raise Tizanidine levels
- Sedatives or alcohol, increasing drowsiness
