WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders
- Bipolar disorder (mania and prevention of mood episodes)
- Sometimes used along with other medicines to treat depression
- Occasionally used to control severe nausea or vomiting caused by certain treatments, if advised by a doctor
HOW IT WORKS
- Acts on the brain by blocking certain dopamine and serotonin receptors
- Helps reduce hallucinations, delusions, and disorganised thinking
- Helps stabilise mood swings in bipolar disorder
- Improves overall behaviour and daily functioning over time
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
