• Yellowing of eyes/skin (jaundice)

How to Use PANAZEP LS TABLET (PAROXETINE 12.5MG + CLONAZEPAM 0.25MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take at the same time each day, generally in the evening, with or after food
• Do not stop suddenly without talking to your doctor, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms
• Effects on mood may take a few weeks to show fully

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
• If you miss several doses, inform your doctor before restarting

STORAGE

• Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not store in the bathroom or near moisture

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to paroxetine, clonazepam, or any other benzodiazepine/SSRI
• Have severe liver disease or myasthenia gravis
• Have severe breathing problems or sleep apnoea
• Are currently taking or have recently stopped MAOI antidepressants
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless specifically advised by your doctor

TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU

• Have a history of substance abuse or dependence
• Have glaucoma, kidney or liver problems
• Have a history of seizures
• Have bipolar disorder or history of suicidal thoughts
• Are elderly, as sedation risk is higher
• Are planning surgery or dental treatment soon

MEDICINES THAT CAN INTERACT

• Other antidepressants, especially MAOIs and other SSRIs
• Other sedatives, sleeping pills, or alcohol
• Blood thinners like warfarin
• Migraine medicines (triptans)
• NSAIDs or aspirin, which increase bleeding risk
• Certain antifungal and antibiotic medicines
