WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Treating fluid buildup (swelling) due to heart failure
- Controlling high blood pressure
- Supporting heart function by reducing strain from excess fluid
- Reducing hospital readmission risk in some heart failure patients
HOW IT WORKS
- Torsemide is a loop diuretic that increases urine output, removing extra salt and water from the body
- Eplerenone blocks aldosterone, a hormone that causes salt and water retention and can harm the heart
- Together they reduce fluid overload and support better heart and blood vessel function
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for simple mild swelling without medical evaluation
- Not a treatment for infections or pain

How to Use PLANEP T 10MG TABLET (Eplerenone 25mg + Torsemide 10mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
- Take in the morning to prevent frequent urination disturbing sleep
- Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food
- Do not crush or chew unless advised by your doctor
- Continue taking regularly even if you feel well; do not stop suddenly without medical advice
- Your doctor may monitor your blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels periodically
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose
- If you miss doses often, inform your doctor

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
